Our good friends The British Andy and Titanscreed are bringing back the Race for Good charity livestream event on June 21st for another round of Sonic the Hedgehog racing fun and this time around the event will run for a full week and include a whole team of different streamers taking part, including us!

In addition to the various Sonic streams taking place during the week, the voice of Dr. Eggman, Mike Pollock will be joining the event for a Q&A session alongside Johnny Gioeli – one half of Crush 40, who are famous for their various Sonic the Hedgehog theme songs.

A listing for a new Crush 40 compilation called Driving Through Forever – The Ultimate Crush 40 Collection is available to pre-order on CD Japan and Amazon Japan with a release date of July 24th 2019 and an RRP of ¥2,918.
While there is currently no complete track list, it’s easy to assume that this will be another compilation similar to The Best of Crush 40 – Super Sonic Songs. As previously reported, Team Sonic Racing will be on show at Gamescom from the 21st to the 25th of August 2018 and will feature a new Ice Mountain track to play on the show floor. A new trailer for the game has just gone live that features the first footage of the Ice Mountain track, but also goes in depth as to what abilities teams can use in the game. Check it out below:
Team Sonic Racing will release on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch this Winter 2018. The game is being developed by Sumo Digital and features new music from Jun Senoue and Crush 40.
A new trailer has been released for Team Sonic Racing, showing off some fancy CG and gameplay footage. In particular we get a look at a few of the characters you’ll be able to play as, such as Rouge the Bat and Omega, as well as the second stage to be confirmed – Spagonia from Sonic Unleashed.
We also get an extended listen to the music from the first trailer, revealing it’s an all new vocal track from Crush 40! According to Jun Senoue’s personal Twitter account, the track is titled “Green Light Ride.” It’s nice to see Crush 40 return to their roots somewhat – amongst the first games they ever scored was SEGA’s NASCAR Arcade!
The game is still currently pencilled in for a Winter release. The game is also playable at E3, but seemingly the demo is the same as the one used for previews a week or two ago.
When Tracker isn’t playing SEGA games, he’s talking about SEGA games. Or drawing about SEGA games. Or all of the above. You can also catch him over on Twitter.
