Those (un)lucky Japanese! Shadow the Hedgehog has been re-released on the Japanese PSN store. The game is a part of the PS2 Classics range and can be purchased for 1200 yen (about £8).
Shadow the Hedgehog is the notoriously ill-advised Shadow-centric action platformer which allows you to pick up and use enemy weapons like swords and most controversially, guns.
The PS2 version of the game suffers from a wildly fluctuating framerate that makes the game a chore to play. If you’re that desperate to play the game I would advise the superior Gamecube version.
SEGA of Japan have announced a new 3DS RPG called Hero Bank. The game’s premise is to make as much money as possible in a cyber sport called Hero Battle.
The game is released in Japan on December 19th and no Western version has been announced at this time. Check out the first screenshots below:
Lakefeperd’s sequel to Sonic Before the Sequel, Sonic After the Sequel is now available to download. Yeah, try and say that out loud.
Download the game via the official website by clicking here.
Check out the release trailer below which also reveals that Lake’s next game Sonic Chrono Adventure will be released at this year’s SAGE. He’s a busy man!
4 new Game Gear titles have been added to the 3DS eShop and are available to download now. The games are:
Sonic the Hedgehog
Columns
Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine
Shining Force: The Sword of Hayja (AKA Shining Force Gaiden II)
Shining Force fans will also know that Shining Force: The Sword of Hayja was remade along with Shining Force Gaiden and released as Shining Force CD for the Mega-CD.
Online Dreamcast game Planet Ring has been brought back online thanks to a talented bunch of Dreamcast enthusiasts.
The fine people at DC Emuluation have managed to develop a custom piece of software called The EarthCall Project which bypasses the need for a Dream Key and allows you to play Planet Ring on private servers.
All the information and links to the software required can be accessed via this link: CLICK HERE
Those loveable and sweary oafs Egoraptor and Jontron have uploaded a “Game Grumps VS” episode where the two gents play Puyo Pop Fever. Check it out but do remember that Game Grumps contains bad language and adult themes. NAUGHTY!
Check out the brand new trailers for Hatsune Miku Project Diva F which contains the first look at the Western releases’ gameplay as well as a 3DS specific trailer for Sonic: Lost World:
