Intrepid Izzy is a new Dreamcast action platformer from Senile Team; famed creators of Rush Rush Rally Racing and Beats of Rage. The game is currently in development and is seeking funding via the Kickstarter platform. At the time of writing the game is 40% funded with 17 days to go. If you’re interested in supporting a new Dreamcast project then you can visit the game’s Kickstarter page and pledge now. The Dreamcast tier will set you back 30 euros which is a great price for a brand new, physical Dreamcast game. In conjuction with the Dreamcast release, the game will also be released on PC and PS4.
We visited the Centre for Computing History in Cambridge and had a look at all their SEGA stuff! The centre is open from Wednesday to Sunday, 10am ’til 5pm. Adult entry is £8.

Wind and Water Puzzle Battles is a real gem in the world of independent Dreamcast games. This is an extremely charming, funny and challenging title that will give puzzle fans a lot to enjoy. The story mode takes you on a fantastic tour of gaming and is filled with humour and pastiches of many gaming clichés. If you’ve been after something new to play on your Dreamcast and previously missed this title then this comes highly recommended from us.
An unreleased sequel to Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future called Ecco II: Sentinels of the Universe has been leaked online. A disc image of the unreleased Dreamcast title is available to download now and play on actual Dreamcast hardware.
The game is incomplete, features no sound and the debug menu is constantly active but it does present a curious oddity that suggests SEGA’s reboot of the Ecco the Dolphin franchise did well enough for the publisher to consider a sequel. Information also seems to suggest the game was cancelled around the time SEGA left the console business to become a third party software publisher, which would explain the game’s cancellation.
