Check out the latest Sonic: Lost World trailer which showcases some of the new colour powers Sonic has at his disposal: The trailer also reveals the North American release date which is October 22nd. The band previously know as SEGA Megadrive Band, who we discovered playing Crooked Ways Festival in June, have rebranded as The Megadrive Band and are playing a set at Summer of Sonic. The Megadrive Band are playing the main stage at Summer of Sonic during the afternoon slot and promise to bring a series of covers from early games featured on the Mega Drive. SEGA have dropped a lawsuit on THQ over money they were owed from Steam pre-orders of Company of Heroes 2. There were 20,755 pre-orders for Company of Heroes 2 registered through Steam from September 2012 to 24th January 2013. This generated revenue of $1,345,301.29 with Valve taking a 30% cut of those sales. This left THQ and Relic Entertainment with 70% which amounts to around $941,000. SEGA claims it’s owned $508,877.85 from those pre-orders as Valve paid THQ after 19th December 2012, the day it filed for bankruptcy protection. The sequel to Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F has been announced and will be released in Japan for PS3 and PS Vita in Spring 2014. Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd promises more “depth and evolution” and will feature the songs Colorful X Melody”, “Romeo and Cinderella” and “Akatsuki Arrival”. Summer of Sonic will host the first UK playable version of Sonic: Lost World. The game will be available to play on both Wii-U and 3DS at the convention so if you’re itching to play the latest Sonic game ahead of release and you managed to score a Summer of Sonic ticket then you’re in luck! The little Android console that could can now play Sonic! SEGA have just announced that the Ouya versions of Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode I and II are now available to purchase on Ouya. As with all Ouya games, the games come with free to download trials which contain the first stage for Episode I and the first two stages for Episode II. Both games are priced at $6.99 each.
