SEGA have revealed that Playsport Games’ F1 management sim Motorsport Manager will launch on PC, Mac and Linux this September.
Previously available on mobile platforms, the game has been rebuilt from the ground up to make use of the extra hardware grunt that PCs can offer and it’s a considerably more feature-rich and prettier experience as a result.
In the latest edition of SEGA Europe’s SEGA Central YouTube series, community manager Dan Sheridan has confirmed that SEGA 3D Classics Collection will come to Europe and the delay to its launch in this region is, “subject to approval submissions”.
Sheridan couldn’t confirm a release date for the game but confirmation that it is coming to Europe is certainly a big step forward for SEGA Europe who have generally been quite late on the uptake of releasing games the American branch of SEGA have already committed to.
You can watch the latest episode of SEGA Central below. It also includes an unboxing of the new Europa Edition of Valkyria Chronicles Remastered which launches on the 17th of this month:
SEGA and Relic Entertainment have just revealed Dawn of War III for PC. You can check out the announcement trailer for the latest in the RTS franchise below:
No release date has been revealed at this time but there’s a lot of hyperbole from executive producer Stephen MacDonald who has said, “this is the Dawn of War that fans have been waiting for. Our biggest units ever? Check. Giant orbital lasers? Check. Base-building, epic heroes, huge battles, it’s all in there. Get ready for the biggest Dawn of War yet. For the Emperor!”
Our long forgotten hardware section has finally received a raft of updates and we’re hoping to refresh every existing entry ongoing. The section itself has received an overhaul and is hopefully a little easier to navigate. A full list of updates and additions are below:
Quite a large number of these controllers were featured in a video we did on Mega Drive controllers so why not check that out when you’re finished exploring the new hardware section?
The new SEGA Mega Drive Classics Hub launched yesterday and we did a short video showing what the hub offers with a particular focus on the new mod support:
Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X HD, the PS4 port of the previously Vita exclusive rhythm game, is finally scheduled for a Japanese release on August 25th for PS4. We’ve also got a new trailer featuring a medley of songs from the game that you can watch below:
There is currently no word on whether the game will make it to Europe, but a US release for the game was confirmed for Autumn last month. Looks like a simultaneous worldwide launch might be on the cards if SEGA Europe decide to pull their finger out.
Data Discs have revealed they have plans to release the Panzer Dragoon soundtrack on vinyl. This title will join the vinyl release of the Out Run soundtrack as the only two releases from Data Discs currently scheduled for 2016. There are currently no details regarding release dates or colour-ways at this time.
In other news, Data Discs will restock their first release of the Streets of Rage soundtrack with copies on translucent red and black vinyl appearing on their store from May 1st at 5pm BST. Shenmue, Super Hang-On and Streets of Rage 2 are still available to purchase at this current time.
SEGA Europe has revealed a new collection of Mega Drive titles for Steam. The new collection is called SEGA Mega Drive Classics Hub and the main addition is that it wraps the games in a lovely nineties bedroom aesthetic that you can also customise. Additional games will be able to purchase in-game and any existing SEGA Mega Drive Classics you already own will be automatically added to the hub.
SEGA Mega Drive Hub includes the following features:
– Steam Workshop support that allows you to customise games and share them with other users
– Spot on emulation
– Local co-op on supported games
– Optional graphical filters
– Save at any point
– Full controller and keyboard support
Games that will be available for the hub include Dynamite Headdy, Alien Soldier, the Sonic series, the Golden Axe series, the Phantasy Star series and many more that are detailed on the official website.
