A new trailer for the arcade version of Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games has appeared.
The arcade cabinet is an elaborate little thing with a step sensor for events that involve running and two massive joysticks you have to rhythmically fondle for the other events. You can get a little peak at the various events in the new trailer below:

This edition of the soundtrack has been newly remastered in collaboration with Yuzo Koshiro himself and will feature 4 exclusive demos and unused tracks. There are also variants featuring just the clear record with smoke effect (also for £24.99) and a standard black variant with a lower price of £22.99.

The Dreamcast and SEGA Saturn console themes for 3DS are finally coming to Europe this Friday the 19th of February. Each theme will set you back £1.59 and come complete with sampled audio relevant to each console.
The European localisation has been especially impressive for previous SEGA console themes with the Mega Drive and Master System themes using sound and imagery relevant to the console’s release in the PAL regions. The same seems to have been applied to the Dreamcast theme which actually uses the blue swirl as opposed to the orange swirl used in America and Japan.
In today’s video we take a look at the GBA clone console, the Revo K101+. This unit surprisingly comes with support for both Game Gear and Master System emulation, which is what we’re looking at here:
We’ve made it to 200 video uploads on our YouTube channel! To celebrate we’re looking at the stranger side of the bootleg spectrum by taking a look at Sonic the Hedgehog bootlegs for the Nintendo Game Boy:
We’ve finally got a screen of SEGASonic Bros. that shows the multi-coloured Sonics that appear on the title screen, but actually in action.
While we’ve previously seen screens of different coloured balls on the game’s play-field (see below), the multi-coloured Sonics that appear on the title screen hadn’t previously been shown in game. From the above screenshot we can see the multi-coloured Sonics are actually used in play. We can only assume that turn into balls when placed or scored.
All pre-orders and first print editions of the upcoming SEGA 3D Classics Collection on 3DS will come with a free SEGA consoles decal sheet.
Got some spare faceplates that you no longer use for your New 3DS? Well why not sticker them up and make them well SEGAry mate! Stick em on your notebooks and sketchpads! Or you can do what I do and never use them, safeguarding their resale value!
You can see the decal sheet in the image below:
SEGA 3D Classics Collection launches in the Americas on the 26th of April. There is still no announcement regarding a European release which SUCKS
