A new trailer for Aliens: Colonial Marines. This time SEGA show off some tactical multiplayer action and showcase the various choices you can make as both Xenomorph and Marine. SEGA have revealed that the re-releases of Cyber Troopers Virtual-On and Virtua Striker will not be making their way West and are restricted to the Japanese PSN and XBLA services. This is disappointing news as the other 3 titles in the collection (Sonic the Fighters, Virtua Fighter 2 and Fighting Vipers) were released in the West. YouTube user Sarsion is working on a Sonic Generations mod which recreates all of Sonic 1 using the Generations engine. While the mod isn’t particularly far in development at the moment, the soundtrack is complete and available for download now. The soundtrack is titled South Island: Classic and it was arranged and remixed by NicoCW. Steve Lycett from Sumo Digital has revealed that he has received approval from SEGA to include a “specific character” in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. No information regarding what character it is has been revealed at this time. Presumably, the character will be released as DLC for the game at some point in the near future. SEGA have officially announced the acquisition of Relic Entertainment. The company was previously owned by THQ and were responsible for the Warhammer 40K games Dawn of War and Space Marine. John Cheng, CEO of SEGA of America said, “We are thrilled to have Relic Entertainment join the SEGA family. The acquisition is a strategic fit and a critical step in growing our business. Bayonetta will be re-released via the Playstation Network on January 30th. The Platinum Games epic will be available to download for £14.99. There is currently no word about whether the long loading times of the original PS3 release will be cured in the PSN version.
