Previously announced as a mobile exclusive for iOS and Android devices, Sonic Rumble will now launch on PC as well as mobile this Winter 2024.
Sonic Rumble is a 32 player online battle royale game in the style of Fall Guys. The game looks fairly extensive for a multiplayer title with several modes that include Run, Survival, Hunt, Team and Ring Battle. You can check out the latest trailer via the embed below that shows each mode in action alongside the game’s character customisation:

The same X user who leaked footage of the new Shinobi game has also shared footage of a supposed 2022 build of the new multiplayer-focused Crazy Taxi. This new Crazy Taxi title is still in development which means it may look very different to this leaked footage considering its supposed age. You can watch it on @Ryanfrombronx’s X (formerly Twitter) account by clicking the screenshot below:
In a sad and disappointing decision by SEGASammy, it has come to light that The Creative Assembly’s upcoming looter-shooter Hyenas has been cancelled in what is being described as a “response to the lower profitability of the European region“.
Hyenas was first announced back in June 2022. The game had only been recently made playable on PC in a closed beta that started on August 31st 2023. The game was due to feature some interesting SEGA fan service, with a character that cosplayed as Sonic the Hedgehog and a hacking device that looked like a Mega Drive.
SEGADriven would like to send our condolences to The Creative Assembly as it must be extremely deflating to learn all your hard work has gone to waste. We hope the team have more success with future developments.

You can watch a brand new trailer showing off the co-operative multiplayer and the new head-to-head battle mode by clicking the embed below:

The standard edition of the game also comes with some bonuses: a Lego Eggman skin, an acrylic display stand and a reversible cover with alternative artwork.
Things have been very quiet on the Endless Dungeon front, but Amplitude Studios’s top-down co-op shooter is now looking to launch in 2023. We also have new gameplay footage courtesy of today’s Nintendo Direct, which showcases the game running on Nintendo Switch. Check it out below (Endless Dungeon footage starts at 39:14):

The PS4 home console port of SEGA’s previously arcade exclusive title Border Break has finally been set for August 2nd 2018 in Japan.
The game will be available as a free-to-play digital release that supports micro-transactions, but a boxed copy and a paid digital version will include extra bonuses. These bonuses basically amount to various in game items like an exclusive mech (or “border”) to use, additional parts for the mech (including customisable skins) and digital currency to be used for unlocking items, weapons and mechs in the in-game shop.
Border Break is currently a Japan exclusive PS4 title set to release on August 2nd 2018.
SEGA Europe have uploaded a “let’s play” feature on the Total War: Rome II multiplayer mode. The video features a nice, in depth look at the mode. Check it out:
SEGA have announced a new multiplayer mode for Company of Heroes 2 called Theatre of War.
“Theater of War allows us to tell different stories from The Eastern Front in the form of new playable single player and co-operative content. The mode includes solo challenges where players are pitted against overwhelming odds, AI battles against an enemy commander with a unique play style and co-operative scenarios for fans to enjoy with your friends.
At the launch of COH2, the Theater of War mode will include missions from key battles in 1941. Choosing either the Soviet Red Army or the Germans, players will visit different locations across the Eastern Front and take part in some of the most famous battles that occurred that year. Each faction has 9 unique missions included. More Theater of War missions will be added to the game at a later date, including the previously announced mini-pack for all eligible pre-order customers.”
Company of Heroes 2 is released worldwide for PC on June 25th 2013.
The Creative Assembly have dropped a bombshell and that’s the news of free-to-play, online multiplayer game, Total War Arena. The new Total War game allows 10 vs 10 player matches and control of 3 army units of up to 500 men. Sounds a bit mad if you ask me.
No release dates have been announced at this time, but we’re assuming this will be a PC release that could be either a browser-based game or a Steam release. More on this as we get it.
Border Break is a Japan exclusive, third-person, mecha fighting game that is hugely popular in its’ native country. Machines are linked together for LAN multiplayer which can result in matches like the one below which includes a massive 20 players duking it out. Watch the chaos ensue here:
