I’d recommend anyone with an interest in puzzle games to try out Wind and Water. Think Hexic (the puzzle game included on all X-Box 360s) with a story that parodies all your favourite games from yester-year. There’s also a plethora of different SEGA cameos with some fantastic remixes of classic SEGA tunes.
So what are you waiting for? Give Wind and Water: Puzzle Battles a try; you won’t regret it!

More gameplay footage of Platinum Games’ new brawler, ‘Anarchy Reigns’! This time we’re introduced to Zero who looks remarkably like a beefed up version of Hotsuma from the 2002 Shinobi PS2 game:
This has been floating around for a while now but I’ve only just watched it. My God. This is a travesty of the highest order. Luckily, YouTube user Pikawil64 has offered this handy transcript so you can understand what is being said. Press play on the video and read along!

SEGA have confirmed SEGA Rally Online Arcade for release on Playstation Network and X-Box Live Arcade sometime in 2011. As we speculated, the game is an adapted version of SEGA Rally 3. This echoes the release of Outrun Online Arcade, hence the similar title. Here’s the full press release:
LONDON & SAN FRANCISCO (31st Jan 2010)— SEGA® Europe Ltd. and SEGA® of America, Inc. announced today that SEGA Rally Online Arcade™, a new HD title inspired by SEGA Rally Revo™ and SEGA Rally 3™, will be racing onto PlayStation® Network and Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft in 2011. SEGA’s arcade and console favourite will include a collection of new features, including the ability for gamers to race their friends online!
“We’ve blended our hit arcade racing series with the best elements from the console versions to bring our fans the SEGA Rally experience in compact, downloadable format,” said Haruki Satomi, Vice President of Digital Business at SEGA. “Whether they’re new to the SEGA Rally series or they’ve participated in countless races over the years, we’re confident everyone will enjoy the wide variety of features included in this fan favourite.”
SEGA Rally Online Arcade™ brings back all the features players could want from the popular arcade and console racer, including Championship Battle mode and Time Attack, while adding an exciting online racing mode that lets players battle it out with up to five drivers around the world. Featuring a brand new achievement system, 13 rally cars to choose from and online leaderboards, SEGA Rally Online Arcade will deliver lap after lap of intense rally action when it arrives on consoles in 2011.
Sony Computer Entertainment Korea has filed a listing on the Korean Game Rating Board for a game titled ‘SEGA Rally Online Arcade’. This went active on the 26th of January 2011. There is no further information beyond its’ ‘E for Everyone’ rating.
Could this be a port of SEGA Rally 3 for X-Box Live Arcade and Playstation Network? Only time will tell. I for one am looking forward to some more SEGA Rally action. 2007’s SEGA Rally Revo was an overlooked wonder.

SEGA Europe have also uploaded a teaser trailer to their YouTube channel:
Now here’s a welcome first for SEGA! The Sonic Colours soundtrack ‘Vivid Sound x Hybrid Colors’ is to be released on iTunes in North America and Europe! Game soundtracks are becoming more and more difficult to find on Western shores so the digital distribution of the Sonic Colours soundtrack is a welcome alternative.
Here’s the pricing for both North America and UK:
Individual tracks: $1.29 / £0.99
Per Disc: $9.99 / £7.99
That’s a massive saving on importing and you don’t have to risk getting a massive custom’s charge (I got stuck with an additional £20 on top of the original £40 order; ouch!).
NG.DEV.TEAM, the developer behind such great new Dreamcast games as Last Hope: Pink Bullets and Fast Striker have announced another new game called GunLord.
Apart from a teaser site, there isn’t much information on the game other than it promises to let the player “Jump. Shoot. Explore” and is being advertised as “A Jump N Shoot Action Game”.
