The Android-powered Ouya launches on the 25th of June and SEGA are planning to release 3 Sonic titles for the console. The games in question are Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episodes I & II as well as Sonic CD. These will more than likely be upscaled versions of the already existing Android versions of the games. All 3 games will be released on June 27th and American pricing has been announced at $6.99 per game. Trial versions will be available as well. Nintendo Life have uploaded gameplay footage of all 4 Japanese SEGA 3D eShop titles. Up and until now, SEGA’s 3D re-releases of classic SEGA titles for the 3DS eShop have been exclusive to Japan, but by the looks of things two of these titles look to be coming West. The Australian Classification Board has entries for both 3D Sonic the Hedgehog and 3D Altered Beast. While Australia obviously isn’t the West, games that are generally released in this region get a release in the West as well. The 3 Sonic titles exclusive to the Nintendo and SEGA worldwide partnership will be released this year. This information comes from a press release from Nintendo Germany which catagorically states: Today, they (Sega) revealed further details of the second of three titles, which the two companies will release exclusively on Wii U and 3DS. The SEGA Blog has revealed some plot details and a couple of Wii-U screenshots for Sonic: Lost World: “Dr. Eggman has harnessed the power of six menacing creatures collectively known as the Deadly Six, but when the Deadly Six rise up against their master, Sonic has to unite with his arch nemesis in order to take on the new enemies head-on. The first trailer for Sonic: Lost World on Wii-U has been revealed and it looks like a beautiful mix of Sonic Xtreme in Sonic Colours! Check it out below: Also revealed is the first screenshot of the 3DS version which you can see in the image above. It looks like another side-scroller in a similar style to Generations, but there’s plenty of room for this to still surprise us just like the Wii-U version.
