Friday, October 18th, 2013

We love the Wii. It’s a brilliant console that didn’t really get the love it deserved from the more experienced gaming public because despite its family friendly appearance, a great deal of exciting and interesting games got released for the system. Some of those were even published by SEGA!

The below video showcases our personal SEGA collection of games published for the Nintendo Wii with an in depth focus into why we like or dislike each of the games we own:

Is Nintendo Making a New Seaman Game?

Wednesday, July 17th, 2013

Two Nintendo trademarks have appeared which seem to relate to cult Dreamcast game Seaman. The two trademarks are “Mysterious Pet: Legend of the Fish With A Human Face” and “Mysterious Partner: Legend of the Fish With A Human Face”.

Do the rights to Yoot Saito’s mental microphone pet simulator now reside with Nintendo or do these trademarks simply hint at what console/s the game/s will be released for?

More on this as we get it.

Bayonetta 2 Announced as Wii-U Exclusive UPDATED

Thursday, September 13th, 2012

UPDATE
Bayonetta 2 is being published by SEGA in conjunction with Nintendo as the following screenshot proves: CLICK HERE

Thanks to Kevin Eva on Twitter.

ORIGINAL STORY
Bayonetta 2 is actually a real thing! Platinum Games’ mental action game is getting a sequel and it’s a Wii-U exclusive.

Yusuku Hashimoto who produced the original Bayonetta is now directing and the former Clover Studio CEO Atsushi Inaba is now acting as producer.

Bizarrely, the game isn’t being published by SEGA but by Nintendo themselves. So in a strange way this isn’t actually SEGA news!
