Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2 will launch in Japan on November 28th for Nintendo 3DS. The game will be available as a regular edition for 6229 yen and a limited edition priced at 7665 yen. No details as to what is in the limited edition have been made available at this time. Project Mirai 2 is a Japan exclusive entry in the Hatsune Miku series and offers a cutesy, more friendly alternative to the Project Diva series. The series has been developed by SEGA AM2. Two Nintendo trademarks have appeared which seem to relate to cult Dreamcast game Seaman. The two trademarks are “Mysterious Pet: Legend of the Fish With A Human Face” and “Mysterious Partner: Legend of the Fish With A Human Face”. Do the rights to Yoot Saito’s mental microphone pet simulator now reside with Nintendo or do these trademarks simply hint at what console/s the game/s will be released for? More on this as we get it. SEGA Amusements have revealed the following teaser trailer which showcases a Transformers arcade game: Judging by the on-screen cross-hairs, we’d take a guess that this is an on-rails shooter in a similar fashion to Lets Go Jungle. Check out the latest Sonic: Lost World trailer which showcases some of the new colour powers Sonic has at his disposal: The trailer also reveals the North American release date which is October 22nd. The band previously know as SEGA Megadrive Band, who we discovered playing Crooked Ways Festival in June, have rebranded as The Megadrive Band and are playing a set at Summer of Sonic. The Megadrive Band are playing the main stage at Summer of Sonic during the afternoon slot and promise to bring a series of covers from early games featured on the Mega Drive. SEGA have dropped a lawsuit on THQ over money they were owed from Steam pre-orders of Company of Heroes 2. There were 20,755 pre-orders for Company of Heroes 2 registered through Steam from September 2012 to 24th January 2013. This generated revenue of $1,345,301.29 with Valve taking a 30% cut of those sales. This left THQ and Relic Entertainment with 70% which amounts to around $941,000. SEGA claims it’s owned $508,877.85 from those pre-orders as Valve paid THQ after 19th December 2012, the day it filed for bankruptcy protection.
