This latest 2D take on the Sonic formula is heading to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Switch and its big focus is on co-operative multiplayer with up to 3 friends. You can watch a brand new trailer showing off the co-operative multiplayer and the new head-to-head battle mode by clicking the embed below:

The House of the Dead Remake has been developed by Megapixel Studio and is being published by Forever Entertainment, Microids and Forever Limited under license from SEGA. The game releases exclusively on Switch on April 7th 2022. Boxed copies from Forever Limited will ship in a 2 to 6 month period.
A brand new Mega-CD solution in the form of an FPGA-powered flash cart has appeared and it is called the MegaSD. Developed by Terraonion, this new flash cart is powerful enough to emulate actual Mega-CD hardware and plugs directly into a Mega Drive. It can even run 32X/Mega-CD titles if you have access to a 32X as well.
The MegaSD doesn’t just support variants of Mega-CD games as well. The flash cart will run Mega-CD ISOs, Mega Drive ROMs, Master System ROMs and 32X ROMs (but only with the 32X add-on). The MegaSD is widely compatible with actual Mega Drives, the Mega SG and the SEGA Nomad and also supports up to 8 save state slots. It can even emulate the FM sound unit for compatible Master System games.
Two Point Hospital finally has a release date! The first game from ex-Bullfrog developers Mark Webley and Gary Carr and their new studio Two Point will launch on the 30th of August for PC.
You can visit the store page on Steam by clicking here or you can pre-order the game now and get a 10% discount to bring the price down to £22.49. If that sounds tempting then click here to pre-order.
Two Point Hospital follows the formula of Bullfrog’s own Theme Hospital and is promising to deliver a similar set of laughs and overall absurdity. One of the illnesses you have to cure is one that turns the infected’s head into a light bulb.
There’s also a new trailer to look at, so why not click the embed below?
There is also a gorgeous new trailer full of hand-drawn animated sequences by Tyson Hesse and it also includes the reveal of Stardust Speedway (past) as a new stage. Check it out:
Yakuza 0 is launching in the West early next year (Early 2017 for Europe but a firm January 24th 2017 date for the US) and those lucky Americans get a launch-day “Business Edition” of the game which includes a stainless steel business card holder that includes 3 cards based on characters and places in the actual game. As long as you pre-order the game in North America you will receive a Business Edition which means this edition basically takes the place of what is normally labelled a “day one” edition aka the first print run of the game.
You can also check out a new trailer for the game by clicking below. You can also watch the slightly different European version of the trailer (different release date, no mention of the Business Edition) by clicking here.
Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice is almost upon us and SEGA Europe are offering a pre-order incentive to those who want one of those Sonic hats that they give away at every games event they appear at.
We have a new trailer for the Western release of Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X. A whole host of new songs are featured in the trailer so take a look below:
Pre-ordering Project Diva X will give you access to a pre-order bonus. The game will come with a Project Diva X glasses pouch. Directly playing to us Miku nerds, eh SEGA?
Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X launches in the West on the 30th of August 2016 on both PS Vita and PS4.
You can now pre-order Yakuza 5-themed avatars on the PSN store. The pre-order date? 5th of November. Could this be a clue as to the game’s Western release date? Quite possibly.
The avatars are actually marked as Yakuza 5-themed items and you can pre-order them by clicking here. Why you’d want to pre-order tiny images for 25p is beyond me but that’s a thing you can do if you’re losing your grip on reality. Happy times!
Yakuza 5 should launch exclusively on PS3 via the PSN store on November 5th. Should.
All of a sudden, Sonic Lost World is no longer a Wii U exclusive and is now on its way to PC!
Sonic Team’s latest Sonic outing can now be pre-ordered on Steam for £19.99 and you also get a free copy of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed (this will only be available during pre-order). The game officially launches on November 2nd.
This is great news for PC Sonic fans as SEGA’s PC ports are generally very well handled and in the case of Sonic Generations, they also open up wonderful modding opportunities.
