So things have taken a turn for the worse for all the websites hosted on The Sonic Stadium network. The hard drive for the server that the TSS network is hosted on basically decided to die on us. What’s made this problem worse is that the website backups haven’t been created since Christmas 2013 due to a different issue. Always the way, isn’t it? This means the version of SEGADriven you are currently looking at is essentially 15 months old.
I am working to source a lot of the work I’ve done since the end of 2013 through the Internet Archive and my own personal files, but I’m still going to have to rebuild a lot of the missing content. Work on restoring all the lost content will continue for a while but rest assured I haven’t given up (yet).
Please bare with me while the website is in recovery status. Normal service will resume before you know it.
SEGA Japan’s official Hastune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd website has gone live and you can access it by clicking here.
Not a great deal more than what we already knew is revealed, but some higher quality in-game screenshots are featured as well as confirmation of the Spring 2014 release date.
Heard of Sonic London? No? Well allow me to explain:
Sonic London is the name of a Sonic-themed fan meet that regularly occurs throughout the year. Previous meets have been held at Namco Station near Waterloo and the Royal Festival Hall on the South Bank.
If you’ve ever wanted to attend a Sonic London meet the full details have now been published on the rathy swanky new website. You can access the site by clicking here.
The next Sonic London meet will take place on Saturday the 25th of August in Regent’s Park. If you’re interested you can confirm your attendance on the Facebook event.
Attendees must be 18+ as things usually gravitate towards a pub by the end of the day.
TitansCreed’s Community Spotlight feature is a monthly YouTube series where the man talks to various members of the Sonic and SEGA community to discuss various topics and projects. This month’s feature just happens to be on us!
I talk to TitansCreed about the website, where it originated, Sonic fan games, Summer of Sonic, community in general and my band. Check out the full feature below and learn a little about myself and the website:
There’s not a lot to say at the moment, but a Japanese teaser site has revealed that SEGA, Capcom and Namco Bandai are teaming up for a new 3DS project. The only information regarding the project so far is the bare-bones teaser website which you can access via this link: CLICK HERE
Not really a lot to go on, is it? Something tells me we aren’t going to hear much else about this title until the Summer (E3 most likely) as well, but we’ll update you on any news regarding this extremely interesting project as we get it.
