– Super Monkey Ball Tip’n’Tilt 1 & 2
– Altered Beast
– Ecco the Dolphin
– Golden Axe 1, 2 & 3
– Phantasy Star II

– Virtua Fighter 2

If you have already purchased the games then SEGA has confirmed that they will remain re-downloadable but there will be no further support for them. This means that as OS and hardware updates occur, the games may become unplayable.

7th Dragon and Stella Glow Developers Imageepoch File for Bankruptcy, CEO Goes Missing

Wednesday, May 13th, 2015

stellaglow

Well this is an odd one: following the disappearance of Imageepoch’s CEO Ryoei Mikage last month, the company have now filed for bankruptcy. The bankruptcy is apparently unrelated to Mikage’s disappearance and is blamed on a fall in company’s profits due to a sales slump. This was made worse by the rising cost of development.

There is no mention as to what will happen to the release of Imageepoch’s upcoming game Stella Glow which SEGA Japan are due to publish in June. I’d hazard a guess that unless the game had already gone gold, Stella Glow is likely cancelled.

SEGADriven wish everyone affected by this news all the best in finding work. We also hope that Mikage is found safe in due course.
