SEGA will make an abhorrent freak (aka Suezo) from Monster Rancher available as a playable character in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania as paid for DLC. The character will cost $4.99 (or equivalent) like Hello Kitty on the same day the game launches (October 5th 2021). SEGA continue their trend of adding the absolute best bonus characters of all time to Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania with today’s reveal that Hello Kitty is coming to the game as a paid for DLC character. More bonus characters have been revealed for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania and this time we have the additions of both Sonic the Hedgehog and Miles “Tails” Prower. In the latest Sonic Colours gameplay trailer we get a closer look at the returning wisp powers as well as a new inclusion to Sonic Colours Ultimate. The new wisp comes in the form of the Jade ghost wisp which allows Sonic to temporarily phase through scenery. You can see them all in action via the embed below:
Sonic Colours Ultimate launches on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC on the 7th of September 2021. This new version of Sonic Colours boasts high definition resolutions, 60 fps gameplay and a whole host of new features.
The long awaited release of Picross S: Mega Drive & Mark III Edition is finally upon us as Jupiter have revealed the game will release worldwide on August 5th 2021 on the Nintendo Switch eShop. The game is a retro SEGA themed take on the Picross formula with characters from 59 Mega Drive and Master System games appearing across the various puzzles. Picross S: Mega Drive & Mark III Edition will feature 480 puzzles that can be played across 4 modes: standard Picross, Mega Picross, Colour Picross and Clip Picross. There is also 2 player co-operative play and an extensive tutorial mode. A selection of SEGA soundtrack music will also be available to select as your in game BGM. The game will release on Nintendo Switch as a download exclusive via the eShop on August 5th 2021. The game is being developed by Jupiter.
Released in conjunction with Atlus, the latest entry in the Shin Megami Tensei series will launch exclusively on Nintendo Switch later this year. Shin Megami Tensei V is due for release on November 12th 2021 and you can check out the first look of the game in action via the embed below:
The Megami Tensei series is a long running series of post apocalyptic role-playing games from Atlus. It’s spin-offs include the Devil Summoner, Devil Survivor and Persona games. Shin Megami Tensei V follows the recent HD re-release of Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne which also released on Switch alongside PC and PS4 ports.
SEGA have revealed a HD remake of Super Monkey Ball Deluxe which is heading to Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on October 5th 2021. Sonic Colours: Ultimate launches for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC on September 7th 2021.
The developers of Endless Space 2 and Humankind are back with another title in the Endless franchise called Endless Dungeon. This time around we have a roguelike twin-stick shooter and it looks like you can play with up to 3 players in co-operative gameplay. The goal of the game is to fend off waves of alien baddies and defend a crystal from being shattered by the advancing enemies. You can check out the latest gameplay trailer below:
Endless Dungeon will release on PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. There is currently no release date set for the game.
Two Point Studios are back at it with their first new title since their debut release of Two Point Hospital back in 2018. The studio will be releasing a follow-up of sorts in the form of Two Point Campus; a university building simulation game with a similar dose of humour to Two Point Hospital.
