Video Spotlight: House of the Dead Overkill Extended Cut Launch Trailer

House of the Dead Overkill: Extended Cut is now available in the US of A and will be available this Friday (28/10/2011) in Europe. To celebrate, SEGA have uploaded a launch trailer to YouTube. Check it out:

LONDON AND SAN FRANCISCO (25 October, 2011) – SEGA® Europe Ltd. and SEGA® of America, Inc. today inform the public that the Mutant Massacre to end all mutant massacres has been released in the United States!

We are advising all US residents that as of Tuesday 25 October ‘The House of The Dead: Overkill – Extended Cut’ is available for Sony PlayStation® 3 and that they should stockpile a copy now! We expect the outbreak to spread to Europe on Friday 28 October. We’re also pleased to announce that in Europe only House of the Dead: Overkill – Extended Cut will be available from PlayStation® Network for digital download at the same time as the retail release!

Gun Lord Website Live, Dreamcast Release in 2012 & New Trailer

Gun Lord, the new game being developed for Dreamcast by NG:DEV.TEAM now has a fully functioning website which you can access HERE.

From the site we’ve learned that the release date will be the 15th of January 2012 and the game will be available in both regular and special editions that contain the soundtrack on CD.

We cannot wait to start blasting zo… I mean ‘mutants’ again on the PS3! Overkill was a riot when it first came out on Wii and we’re hoping the Extended Cut delivers more of that madness!

Daytona USA For XBLA and PSN is Official! UPDATE Release Dates Confirmed

That’s right! Daytona USA is coming to X-Box Live Arcade and Playstation Network! No date has currently been set but check out the awesome announcement trailer below:

UPDATE

The release dates for both versions of Daytona USA on XBLA and PSN have been revealed. 360 owners get the title first on 26/10/2011 for 800 points while PSN users get the game in late November 2011.

Also revealed are a list of features that are exclusive to this version:

– Fresh Oil and a New Coat of Paint: Experience the classic retro graphics of the original arcade hit in an enhanced,16:9 widescreen format.
– Let’s Go Away: Relive your glory days of racing to the sounds of the original Daytona USA soundtrack, also available in Karaoke Mode.
– Pedal to the Metal: Drive like a pro with included support for the Logitech GT Driving Force steering wheel controller on PS3, and all Xbox 360-supported steering wheel controllers.
– Reach the Winner’s Circle: Challenge AI opponents in Arcade Mode, race the clock in Survival and Time Trial Modes, and trade paint with up to eight players in online multiplayer to place on the worldwide leaderboard.
