While we’ve added placeholder entries in the index for a large amount of releases, we’ve actually added proper entries which you can click on to display the full tracklists for Crush 40’s 2 Nights 2 Remember, the Bayonetta Original Soundtrack, Blue Blur: Sonic Generations Original Soundtrack, Stereotype’s Electrace Pulseman and the Hatsune Miku -Project Diva- Original Song Collection. Scans of the artwork will also be coming soon.
Also, some of you may have noticed the links to artwork in a few of the entries are currently leading to 404 pages. This is because the scans were sadly lost during the TSS server crash last year. However, these will return in due course so please be patient!

ORIGINAL STORY
Crush 40 will release their next CD “2 Nights 2 Remember” on May the 13th.
The band who are famous for their Sonic vocal themes will celebrate the release of the new CD with a release party at the SEGA Joypolis in Tokyo on the 16th of May. The band will perform a few songs as well as host a signing session.
There is currently no pre-order options available for the CD. A finalised tracklisting hasn’t been confirmed either. We will update this post as and when both become available.
Crush 40 have just uploaded a pro-shot video of What I’m Made Of… live at the Japan Game Music Festival from 2013. It’s an amazing performance of a great Sonic theme and it features live drummer Act and live bassist Shoyo. Press play on the video below and throw up those horns:
Crush 40 have uploaded live footage of them playing ‘His World’, the theme to Sonic the Hedgehog ’06. The footage comes from the band’s complete line-up set in Tokyo, March 30th 2012. The song is also featured on Crush 40′s ‘LIVE!’ album which is available to purchase now. Check it out:
A huge update has been made to our SEGA Music Catalogue. If you head into our Merchandise section and click the Music link you will see an extended and far tidier music index. The index is now organised by album title for easier searching and each entry now has its own separate page full of trivia, scans and a track list.
New additions to the catalogue include:
Alex Kidd Complete Album
The Best of Crush 40 – Super Sonic Songs
Complete Trinity: Sonic Heroes – Original Soundtrax
We will be continuing to add to this section throughout the week and hope to add music that contains SEGA references as well as bonus CDs that come free with special edition games. Watch this space!
Sonic Boom 2013 took place in St Louis, Missouri on August 10th and saw Sonic fans gather at The Pageant for a day of Sonic-themed fun which included appearances by Crush 40, Takashi Iizuka and Kazuyuki Hoshino. You can see a short recap video of the day’s events below:
A wild lyric video appeared! Famous for their Sonic the Hedgehog themes, Crush 40 have uploaded a lyric video for One of Those Days which comes of last year’s Rise Again EP. Check it out below:
So another Summer of Sonic comes to a close. The annual Sonic convention created by fans and run by fans was hit with a major stroke of bad luck when the original venue suffered from a power-cut which led to an electrical fire. Luckily, an alternative venue was acquired just in the nick of time and the convention was moved from the Hove Centre to the Brighton Centre in just 3 hours.
Despite the set-back, this year’s Summer of Sonic turned into one of the best and everyone who staffed it did an amazing job. Hopefully, all our attendees had a fantastic time!
Here’s some footage we managed to shoot while we weren’t busy elsewhere; enjoy!
Everyone’s favourite rock duo Crush 40 is returning to the Summer of Sonic convention on the 7th of July at the Hove Centre in Brighton. This will be Jun Senoue and Johnny Gioeli’s second appearance at the convention and their first together since 2010.
Crush 40 have been working on a new EP featuring all original material which should hopefully be showcased at this year’s Summer of Sonic.
