If the news of Sonic Mania wasn’t exciting enough then you’ll be pleased to know that Sonic Team are developing their own Sonic game in the same vein as Sonic Colours and Sonic Generations. Tentatively titled Project Sonic 2017, the teaser for the PS4/Xbox One/NX title is extremely exciting. I won’t spoil the surprise, just watch:
Project Sonic 2017 will be releasing on PS4, Xbox One and NX in Holiday 2017.
Developed in collaboration with Sonic CD/1/2 Remastered developer Christian Whitehead, SEGA have revealed a new 2D Sonic adventure called Sonic Mania and it looks GORGEOUS:
Sonic Mania features all new 2D art and stages, throwback stages which are based off stages in 16 bit Sonic titles and a new drop-dash mechanic which allows you to instantly accelerate after a fall to the ground.
Sonic Mania launches on PS4, Xbox One and PC in Spring 2017.

A fresh reprint of Yuan Works’s Dreamcast indie puzzle game Wind and Water Puzzle Battles is now available from Dragon Box Shop for only €9.99. You can order a copy right now by clicking here and we highly suggest that you do.
Wind and Water Puzzle Battles is a real gem in the world of independent Dreamcast games. This is an extremely charming, funny and challenging title that will give puzzle fans a lot to enjoy. The story mode takes you on a fantastic tour of gaming and is filled with humour and pastiches of many gaming clichés. If you’ve been after something new to play on your Dreamcast and previously missed this title then this comes highly recommended from us.
