According to information gathered by Nintendolife.com, development of House of the Dead Overkill 2 is well under way and is expected to be released “sometime early or mid-2011″.
“Details on the game are still undisclosed, but what we’ve been told is that a title codenamed House of the Dead: Overkill 2 is being worked on, which we assume is for Wii and potentially PSMove,” said the site.
Exciting times! The original House of the Dead Overkill is still one of our favourite Wii games and held the Guiness World Record for most f-bombs in a video game.

The bonkers Compile Heart RPG ‘Super Dimensional Game Neptune’ that was published by SEGA in Japan will be coming to the West. The game is loosely based on console wars and contains numerous references to past SEGA titles. NIS America will be publishing it in North America. NIS America Inc, Europe will also be bringing the game to Europe.
However, the game will be getting a name change to Hyperdimension Neptunia which is just as odd as the literal Japanese translation. There is no news of any other cuts to the game as the SEGA references might not be licensed to NIS America. The game will be hitting Western shores in Spring 2011.
Edit SEGAShiro.com can confirm that the SEGA references will remain intact in the Western version.

Let’s Tap is an under-appreciated, mini-game masterpiece. Yuji Naka and his Prope studio developed one of the most intuitive and interesting control schemes seen on the Wii which has to be played to be believed. The game also has one of the most enduring soundtracks I’ve come across and the Rhythm Tap mode contains a selection of incredibly upbeat and poppy anthems for you to tap along to.
My absolute favourite has to be Kung-Fu Disco which you can hear below. You’ll have this one stuck in your head for days!

Is it another Bayonetta-style, action masterpiece? Is it as complex as Infinite Space? Is it as all-out violent as MadWorld? I’ll give you a clue; it’s good. Damn good.

There’s a rather lovely Valkyria Chronicles theme now available on the Playstation Network. This is a bit of a strange move seeing as the game was released 2 years ago, but cool none-the-less. It’s also free, so you shouldn’t miss an opportunity to flaunt a great game on your PS3!
