The PC Gaming Show has just concluded at this year’s E3 and with it comes a brand new Shenmue III trailer. Click the embed below to hear your first example of the English voice work in Shenmue III. It’s absolutely fantastic to finally hear Corey Marshall voicing Ryo Hazuki once again:
Shenmue III is the much anticipated follow-up to Dreamcast action RPG Shenmue II, and it releases on PC via the Epic Games Store and PS4 on November 19th 2019. It will not be published by SEGA, with Deep Silver taking over publishing duties under license from SEGA.
Thanks to Damian Mougakos from SEGA America, Erinplays and Geoff Keighley, we now have a look at what the SEGA Genesis Mini looks like in action. We get a look at the hardware itself, menus (complete with Streets of Rage sound effects!), sorting options, in-game performance and save state functionality. Check it out in the video below:
Thanks to the lovely people at Low Score Boy Gameplay, we now have an extended 10 minute look at Streets of Rage 4 in action. The game is currently being demoed at Bitsummit 2019. Take a look below:
Some interesting things to note include the first look at Axel and Blaze’s super moves, and we also see a new gameplay mechanic in the form of bouncing enemies off walls. It appears that the game is running on PC as well, but this might not mean this is a confirmed platform as in-development games are often demoed on PC at events like these.
This is currently no word on a release date for Streets of Rage 4 or an official announcement for what platforms the game will release on.
The first trailer for Paramount’s Sonic the Hedgehog movie is here! Get your first look at Sonic and Dr. Robotnik in action by clicking the embed below:
All the previous imagery and leaks appear to have come true. The CGI Sonic is voiced by Ben Schwartz and seems to be a “realistic” take on the character with fur covering his whole body apart from his shoes. Sonic’s body shape is also quite human-proportioned. Jim Carrey’s Robotnik does have hair, but as alluded to in the final shot of the trailer, he appears to lose it and gain a lengthier mustache at some point during the film.
The Sonic the Hedgehog movie releases on November 8th 2019 in the US. The film also stars James Marsden and is being directed by Jeff Fowler in his feature film debut.

The event ran from March 30th to the 31st 2019 in Tokyo and was quite a historical moment for every SEGA division worldwide as every game announcement at the event was revealed to be releasing worldwide and not just in Japan.
Take a look at Dr. Scottnik’s video below to see exactly what was available on the show floor and soak in a bit of the SEGA love that includes a legendary performance from Segata Sanshiro himself!

It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about the HD virtual reality remake of Space Channel 5, but the Playstation channel has revealed an English language version of the previously released trailer for Space Channel 5 VR: Kinda Funky News Flash!, confirming its Western release:

The first episode was unveiled at SXSW and is now available to watch on YouTube.
