Yakuza 6 is out in Autumn 2016 for PS4. It is currently exclusive to Japan.
A massive 8 minute story trailer for Yakuza Kiwami has appeared and you can watch it below. Yakuza Kiwami is a PS3/PS4 enhanced remake of the original Yakuza game and it will also mark the final Yakuza game to be released on PS3.

A new trailer for the upcoming Yakuza remake, Yakuza Kiwami has gone live and it features loads of new action and some of the most bizarre Majima moments we’ve seen yet. You can get thoroughly creeped out by using the embed below:
Yakuza Kiwami launches in Japan on the 21st of January 2016. The game is available on both PS3 and PS4.
On August 27th, Japan will get a DVD release of the Ryu Ga Gotoku (Yakuza) stage play and there’s now a trailer for it below. Some of the actors playing each character are incredibly well chosen (Majima looks amazing) and the whole thing looks really authentic:

Bandai Namco, Capcom and SEGA team up once again for another edition of Project X Zone! The sequel to the 3DS crossover RPG will be making its way west in the Autumn of this year. The game now features Resident Evil characters, Mega Man characters, Soulcalibur characters and Yakuza characters (our personal favourites). Ryu Ga Gotoku Zero has a new trailer to its name and it’s a whopping 15 minutes. The new trailer focuses on the game’s story which means you’re in for a lot of Japanese as this is a Japan exclusive title. Check out the new trailer below:
Ryu Ga Gotoku Zero launches on PS3 and PS4 on the 12th of March 2015.
Ryu Ga Gotoku Ishin will receive exlusive PS3 bonus content for anyone who owns previous Yakuza PS3 games.
In a short interview with Siliconera, Toshihiro Nagoshi has revealed that if you have save data from past Yakuza games on your PS3 then you will receive “a little bonus”. This content is exclusive to the PS3 version of the game and will not make its way on the PS4 version.
Ryu Ga Gotoku Ishin is released in Japan on the 22nd of February. A Western release has not been confirmed at this time.
More additional features for Ryu Ga Gotoku Ishin have been revealed. The game will feature an in depth farming mechanic which allows you to grow 20 different vegetables and crops. These can cooked at home for health perks or sold for profit at the local market.
Fishing returns to the franchise and plays similarly to SEGA Bass Fishing. Multiple lures will have to be tried to test their effectiveness with different fish. Fish can also be cooked or sold similarly to your crops.
The final addition is that of pets. Stray dogs and cats can be taken in with a limit of 3 pets to your household. Keeping them happy means that on occasion they might fetch a rare item for you.
