The next SonicLondon meet has been confirmed and will take place in Regent’s Park on the 7th of September. This meet also has a number of events taking place and are listed below:
“Art Corner: The voice actor and artist Andrew Hamblin, a SonicLondon regular, has kindly agreed to host our Art Corner for us. Go over and join him, grab a pencil and some paper (provided) and get sketching!
Blackjack: At some point during the meet Cyburn (a member of SonicLondon staff) will be hosting a game of Blackjack, and the eventual winner will recieve a prize. Time and prize to be confirmed on the day.
3DS/Vita Corner: Our friends from Monster Hunter Community UK have kindly agreed to host our handheld corner. They’ll be happy to play the likes of MK7/Mario Tennis/Luigi’s Mansion 2 with attendees. And would, of course, be most up for a sneaky Monster Hunt with those of you that way inclined.”
You can confirm your attendance on the Sonic London Event page on Facebook. Please remember that this is an 18+ event.

In a conversation with Famitsu, Takashi Iizuka has promised Sonic: Lost World will be “different from everything before”. Iizuka-san has gone on record to say that
“…Sonic Lost World, which will feature graphics that fit the game’s content, nice controllability, and a new 360 degree ‘Tube Stage’ that has yet to be seen. We are thinking of showing off a new Sonic that is different from everything before.”
Yes, I believe some people may ask ‘Will you be able to show how fun Sonic can be using a 360 degree stage?’ just like how some asked ‘Will it really be possible to have it in 3D?’ which was the kind of question that helped in the creation of Sonic Adventure.”
Iizuka-san made some further comments about the challenging development of Lost World:
“Yes, I believe some people may ask ‘Will you be able to show how fun Sonic can be using a 360 degree stage?’ just like how some asked ‘Will it really be possible to have it in 3D?’ which was the kind of question that helped in the creation of Sonic Adventure. I believe Sonic Lost World will deliver a new experience for everyone. It will also have data transfer between the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, so please look forward to it.”

Check out the latest Sonic: Lost World trailer which showcases some of the new colour powers Sonic has at his disposal:
The trailer also reveals the North American release date which is October 22nd. Going by that logic, us Brits should see the game on the 25th as games usually release on Fridays in the UK.
