The first cinematic trailer and gameplay footage for 3DS rhythm game Hatsune Miku Project Mirai DX have launched and you can watch them below. Both feature the song Nice to Meet You Mr. Earthling and it’s going to be stuck in your head for days to come. Check out the cinematic trailer below:
The gameplay trailer clocks in at a meaty 5 minutes so there’s plenty to get your teeth into. It appears that one of the mini-games is just Puyo Puyo so that’s a lovely surprise!
Hatsune Miku Project Mirai DX is released worldwide on the 28th of May for 3DS. The game was developed by SEGA AM2. Yes, really!
All the Japanese DLC for Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd will be making its way west for the US and European launch of the game.

SEGA have also announced 2 season passes for the songs and modules. The Song Club offer gets you all 10 songs for £19.99 while the Costume Club offer gets you all 45 modules for £39.99.
Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2 is getting an expanded Western release under the (currently working) title Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai Remix.

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva f’s PS Vita Western release has been narrowed down to March 2014. The Western launch of the game comes with all the additional Japanese exclusive DLC which includes the Snow Miku 2013 DLC, the Extra Character Modules Pack and the Extra Songs pack.
A huge update has been made to our SEGA Music Catalogue. If you head into our Merchandise section and click the Music link you will see an extended and far tidier music index. The index is now organised by album title for easier searching and each entry now has its own separate page full of trivia, scans and a track list.
New additions to the catalogue include:
Alex Kidd Complete Album
The Best of Crush 40 – Super Sonic Songs
Complete Trinity: Sonic Heroes – Original Soundtrax
We will be continuing to add to this section throughout the week and hope to add music that contains SEGA references as well as bonus CDs that come free with special edition games. Watch this space!
The next game in the Project Diva series launches in Spring 2014 and there’s an 11 minute trailer showcasing some of the new in-game PVs. Check out some extensive gameplay of Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd below:

As per all Project Diva titles, new modules (aka costumes) always appear and now we’re getting our first look at one of the new modules. The above image shows the Magical Mirai 2013 module.
Also confirmed is the inclusion of items from the Piapro website which allows fans to submit custom costumes, items and even lyrics. Submissions to the website will be screened by Piapro and the best will be featured in the final game.
Another update has gone live to Project Diva Arcade machines! The new update features an additional 2 songs which come in the form of Absolunote by Lemm and 深海少女」 by ゆうゆさん which features on the soundtrack to Hatsune Miku and Future Stars: Project Mirai for 3DS.
