The recent port of NiGHTS into dreams… for XBLA and PSN has now arrived on PC via Steam! The game comes in a similar format to the XBLA/PSN versions by including enhanced HD graphics but also including the function to change the graphics and resolution to the original SEGA Saturn version. The expansion game Christmas NiGHTS is also included.

YouTube ArgyleDX has uploaded some classic SEGA trailers that were featured heavily at E3 1996. The most interesting of the lot is cancelled Sonic game Sonic Xtreme which would’ve been released for the Saturn. Also featured is beta footage of Sonic 3D Blast which shows a different design to the loops and floor-gates:

NiGHTS into Dreams…, the much-loved SEGA Saturn high-score flying game is being re-released for X-Box Live Arcade, Playstation Network and PC download. There is no release date at this time but an announcement trailer reveals that the game is being remastered with high definition graphics and a widescreen display. The original Saturn version is also included.
At yesterday’s Summer of Sonic event, Steve Lycett revealed the inclusion of NiGHTS and Reala from NiGHTS into Dreams as playable characters in Sonic & SEGA All-Star Racing Transformed. Both characters take the form of vehicles with a Nightopian and a Nightmaren riding on their backs.
Also revealed was a NiGHTS themed track. The track is themed around Spring Valley with additional areas of Nightmare that include appearances from the bosses Gillwing and Wizeman.
