While we’ve added placeholder entries in the index for a large amount of releases, we’ve actually added proper entries which you can click on to display the full tracklists for Crush 40’s 2 Nights 2 Remember, the Bayonetta Original Soundtrack, Blue Blur: Sonic Generations Original Soundtrack, Stereotype’s Electrace Pulseman and the Hatsune Miku -Project Diva- Original Song Collection. Scans of the artwork will also be coming soon.
Also, some of you may have noticed the links to artwork in a few of the entries are currently leading to 404 pages. This is because the scans were sadly lost during the TSS server crash last year. However, these will return in due course so please be patient!
Remember that Anippon range of SEGA console-themed shoes we previously reported on? Well you lucky Americans can now buy them on your shores and avoid the crazy import prices!
Tokyo Otaku Mode are now selling the Saturn, Dreamcast and Mega Drive designs for $69.99 a pair. Pricey stuff. You also have to figure out your shoe size in the Japanese standard which you can do with a sizing chart.
Today on our YouTube channel we have decided to take a journey into the past and open 10 packets of 1992 Panini Sonic the Hedgehog stickers and stick them in the accompanying album, for your amusement! Check it out below:
Please subscribe to our channel for more great SEGA video content! We are currently in the thick of a let’s play of Michael Jackson’s Moonwalker with another episode going live at 4pm BST. Don’t miss out!
Yellow Bulldog have begun pre-orders on a new Sonic Christmas jumper design and unlike the one that was released last year, this is actually a proper knitted jumper design instead of just a print that was made to look like a knitted design.
The jumper is £34.99 and shipping will begin on the 24th of October. Click here to go to the item page on Yellow Bulldog and slap down a pre-order if you’re interested in looking like a bit of a tit (yes I understand that is the point of Christmas jumpers, calm down).
Data Discs have revealed their next two soundtrack releases. From October 2nd you can order Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master on 12″ vinyl in 3 variants. The limited edition is a oxblood and bone split colour variant while the other 2 variants are an oxblood one and the standard black.
Super Hang-On will also be available to order from early November. This record is only available in 2 variants; a tri-colour segmented variant and the standard black. However, this record comes with a die-cut sleeve that allows you to view the artwork through the Super Hang-On logo.
Also revealed for release in 2016 are the Out Run and Streets of Rage 2 soundtracks and also represses for both the Streets of Rage and Shenmue records. No details about record variants is available for Out Run and Streets of Rage 2 at this time, but the Streets of Rage and Shenmue represses will only be available in their solid colour variants.
Revealed at this year’s Tokyo Game Show, Anippon have launched a range of three SEGA-console themed pairs of shoes.
The range includes a Mega Drive design (see above), a Saturn design and a Dreamcast design. They are currently exclusive to Japanese markets and will set you back 8000 yen a pair (£42.94 at the current conversion rate).
SEGA Japan really know how to make good use of their legacy, eh?
The soundtracks to Shenmue and Streets of Rage are getting re-pressed onto vinyl thanks to a new London record label called Data Discs. It has also been confirmed that the repress of the Streets of Rage soundtrack has been in collaboration with Yuzo Koshiro. The release is entirely remastered as well.
Collaborating with SEGA, Data Discs will press each soundtrack in 3 editions, with exclusive editions being offered to early adopters. Pre-orders for the records go live on May 30th on the label’s official website. Each record will be priced at £19.99 each and the records are expected to ship in September.
First 4 Figures have unveiled a new statue and this time it takes the form of NiGHTS. The statue is modeled on the signature pose NiGHTS pulls on the original game’s title screen but the character is in the costume that was introduced with the game’s sequel, NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams. The crescent moon also lights up which is quite a lovely little touch.
The NiGHTS statue is limited to 500 pieces worldwide and is available to pre-order now. The entire statue will cost you $234.99 with an initial $20 down-payment. You can go straight to the statue’s entry on First 4 Figures online store by clicking here.
