Steve Lycett from Sumo Digital has revealed that he has received approval from SEGA to include a “specific character” in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.
No information regarding what character it is has been revealed at this time. Presumably, the character will be released as DLC for the game at some point in the near future.
The Creative Assembly have revealed the above image through the Total War Twitter.
The image is particularly Japanese in style so could this be related to Total War: Shogun? Is a new game on its’ way or could it be DLC for Total War: Shogun 2? Only time will tell!
The Sonic Stadium have revealed a fascinating new feature which discusses Sonic Adventure’s original downloadable content. This includes a Reebok sponsored speedrun challenge that I won’t reveal all the details for as it’s a great read that you should really check out.

Now here’s some SEGA-related news I didn’t expect to see! The famous Hornet vehicle from Daytona USA and a special Daytona USA remix will be coming to Ridge Racer of Playstation Vita via DLC.
The remix is worth a special mention as the ‘RIDGE RACER USA MIX’ is the result of a collaboration between Namco composer Hiroshi Okubo and SEGA’s Takenobu Mitsuyoshi.
There is currently no word on whether or not this DLC will be making it to the West but the Japanese are getting this on June 6th; ¥150 for the remix and ¥250 for the Hornet.
