Latest Sonic Colours Ultimate Trailer Highlights New and Returning Wisp Powers | Video Spotlight

In the latest Sonic Colours gameplay trailer we get a closer look at the returning wisp powers as well as a new inclusion to Sonic Colours Ultimate. The new wisp comes in the form of the Jade ghost wisp which allows Sonic to temporarily phase through scenery. You can see them all in action via the embed below:

Sonic Colours Ultimate launches on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC on the 7th of September 2021. This new version of Sonic Colours boasts high definition resolutions, 60 fps gameplay and a whole host of new features.

Beat from Jet Set Radio Added to Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania as Unlockable Character | Video Spotlight

Beat from Jet Set Radio is joining the Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania cast as an unlockable character. When using Beat, the collectible bananas also change to cans of spray paint which is a cute little touch that helps with the Jet Set Radio theming. Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania launches for Switch, PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series consoles on the 5th of October 2021. The game is an enhanced remake of Super Monkey Ball Deluxe which originally released on PS2 and Xbox back in 2005.

Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles Confirmed for Western Release, New Story Trailer Released | Video Spotlight

SEGA Europe and SEGA America are releasing Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles in the West. The game is based on the long-running Demon Slayer manga and features a stylistic, anime graphical style. You can watch the first trailer below which highlights some of the game’s story beats:

Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles will release on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC on the 15th of October 2021. The game is available in 3 editions: a standard physical edition, a standard digital edition and a deluxe digital edition that includes a raft of digital extras that include bonus characters, avatars and costumes.

Amplitude Studios Reveal New Gameplay Footage of Twin-Stick Shooter ‘Endless Dungeon’ | Video Spotlight

The developers of Endless Space 2 and Humankind are back with another title in the Endless franchise called Endless Dungeon. This time around we have a roguelike twin-stick shooter and it looks like you can play with up to 3 players in co-operative gameplay. The goal of the game is to fend off waves of alien baddies and defend a crystal from being shattered by the advancing enemies. You can check out the latest gameplay trailer below:

Endless Dungeon will release on PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. There is currently no release date set for the game.

Two Point Hospital Follow-Up ‘Two Point Campus’ Revealed for 2022 Release

Two Point Studios are back at it with their first new title since their debut release of Two Point Hospital back in 2018. The studio will be releasing a follow-up of sorts in the form of Two Point Campus; a university building simulation game with a similar dose of humour to Two Point Hospital. Shiva Revealed as Final Streets of Rage 4 DLC Character

The final playable character scheduled for release as a part of Streets of Rage 4’s Mr. X Nightmare DLC has been revealed to be perennial Streets of Rage franchise boss character, Shiva. You can check out Shiva in action via the trailer below:

The Mr. X Nightmare DLC for Streets of Rage 4 will be “coming soon” for PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch. The DLC will also feature new music by Tee Lopes of Sonic Mania fame. You can wishlist the game on Steam via this link.

Sonic Colours will be coming to modern platforms as Sonic Colours Ultimate, as announced during today’s Sonic Central stream.

Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 The Official Video Game Finally Releasing in the West June 22nd 2021

SEGA America and SEGA Europe have finally committed to bringing Olympic Games Tokyo 2020: The Official Video Game to the West and the game is set for a June 22nd 2021 release.

Originally releasing in Japan on the 24th of July 2019, SEGA America and SEGA Europe seemed to shelve plans to release the game in favour of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, which released in November 2019. Olympic Games Tokyo 2020: The Official Video Game takes a more realistic approach to its presentation and features 18 different events to compete in with up to 8 player online multiplayer alongside local multiplayer features.

Olympic Games Tokyo 2020: The Official Video Game will release for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC and Stadia on June 22nd 2021. Check out the new release trailer below:
