There’s lots of returning games like the batting cages, darts and various arcade titles, but we also get new games like underwater hunting, workouts and looking after babies! Video Spotlight: Sonic 3D Blast’s Weird Level Select Bug Explained

If you haven’t subscribed to GameHut yet then sort that out right now because Jon Burton of Traveller’s Tales has been revealing some fascinating prototypes of Sonic R, Sonic 3D: Flickies’ Island, Puggsy and Toy Story. Now Burton has gone a step further and explained one of the weirdest little quirks about Sonic 3D – it’s infamous level select glitch. People have wondered for ages why if you wobble or hit the Sonic 3D cartridge while its in the Mega Drive and turned on, why it instantly displays the game’s level select menu. Burton has all the answers and you can learn exactly what’s causing this by watching the video below:

Video Spotlight: New Football Manager 2018 Details Revealed in Headline News Video

A new headline news video has been released that details the new features in Football Manager 2018 but in a faux-sports news fashion. It’s a cute little video that you can watch below.

The new features appearing in this year’s Football Manager are:

– new visuals in the match engine
– changes to the scouting system
– improvements to the stadium designs and match presentation
– greater depth to the sports science and tactics

Football Manager 2018 will be released on the 10th of November 2017 on PC.

Video Spotlight: 6 Minute Hokuto Ga Gotoku Trailer

A new extended 6 minute trailer of Hokuto Ga Gotoku has also gone live. This new title based on the Fist of the North Star series is being developed by the Yakuza Studio and is due for release on PS4 on the 22nd of February 2018 in Japan. Check out the new trailer by clicking below:

Hokuto Ga Gotoku is currently only due for a Japanese release. A Western release has not been confirmed at this time.

Video Spotlight: New Mobile Title ‘Yakuza Online’ Trailer

A new mobile Yakuza title called Yakuza Online is in the works for iOS, Android and PC. This new title sees you playing as a new character called Kasuga Ichiban and is a free-to-play affair with optional micro-transactions. You can see the game in action by clicking below:

Yakuza Online is due for release in Japan at some point in 2018. There is currently no word on a Western release at this time.

Video Spotlight: Yakuza Kiwami 2 Gameplay Trailer

In addition to the extended story trailer, we also have a new 4 and a half minute gameplay trailer of Yakuza Kiwami 2 to indulge in.

This trailer showcases the game’s combat and some new mini-games that include a Yakuza take on tower defense, a new hostess management mode called Cabaret Club GP and even the bizarre SEGA Toylet urinal mini-games. Check it out below:

Video Spotlight: New Direct Feed Footage of Sonic Forces Speed Battle

Hardlight Studio’s next title is another Sonic the Hedgehog endless runner, but this time it’s themed around the upcoming Sonic Forces game due for release on November 7th 2017. The game is currently in a soft launch state so it’s only playable in certain regions. The game is due for a wider release soon on both iOS and Android devices. Following on from last week’s direct feed gameplay footage of Daytona Championship USA in action, we now have a more in depth look at the cabinet itself via this operators advertisement that’s just gone live on the SEGA Amusements YouTube channel.

We now know what new features have been included. These include the following:

– 3 new tracks
– An instant re-match feature
– A customisable party mode for groups of players
– A championship mode that requires you to finish in the top 3 to progress to the next track
– A tournament mode that challenges players to compete for the best time over a number of days
