Jurgen Post, head of SEGA West has revealed in an MCV interview that SEGA might consider releasing games that belong to their PC franchises for next generation consoles.
“If next gen consoles become as successful as people say, we can look to move some of our big properties on PC over to those machines.”
No games were specified by SEGA’s PC franchises currently include Company of Heroes 2, Total War, Football Manager and unannounced Warhammer titles.

Summer of Sonic and Sonic Boom return in 2013!
Summer of Sonic will be taking place in London, UK at the Westminster Central Hall on August 3rd.
Sonic Boom will be taking place in St. Louis, MO, USA at The Pageant on August 10th. Doors open at 5pm.
More details regarding ticketing and event specifics will be announced soon.
A final word from myself: some of you may or may not know that I have been a member of staff at Summer of Sonic for the past 5 years, but sadly I will not be able to staff or attend this year’s event. If you are a Sonic fan then please make sure you attend Summer of Sonic as it has been one of the greatest experiences of my life and has enabled me to meet loads of new people and make a whole heap of new friends.
Good luck to the team this year (and the chap/chapette who gets to take on my job!) and I’m sure it will be as brilliant as ever!

Those (un)lucky Japanese! Shadow the Hedgehog has been re-released on the Japanese PSN store. The game is a part of the PS2 Classics range and can be purchased for 1200 yen (about £8).
Shadow the Hedgehog is the notoriously ill-advised Shadow-centric action platformer which allows you to pick up and use enemy weapons like swords and most controversially, guns.
The PS2 version of the game suffers from a wildly fluctuating framerate that makes the game a chore to play. If you’re that desperate to play the game I would advise the superior Gamecube version.
