The Official Sonic Merchandise Online Store Now Officially Open… Officially.

Wednesday, January 18th, 2012

www.sonicmerchandise.com is now open for business! Apparently today is the “official” opening despite the website floating around in various states of “sort-of-open” for a while now.

You can access the site directly from this link: CLICK HERE

The store is split up into 5 categories; School, Apparel, Electronics, Collectables, Posters and DVDs. Take a look around and see if there’s anything you’d like! We’re certainly having a copy of Sonic Christmas Blast (More chimneys! MOOOOOOORE!)!

Merchandise Mania: A Whole Heap-Load of New Stuff!

Monday, August 30th, 2010

Today I’ve got a little mad with the Merchandise section. I’ve photographed a load of bits from my own collection and begun the flesh out the SEGA Merchandise Catalogue a little bit.

We’ve got the Summer of Sonic 2009 art book in the Books section, new clothing including a rather lovely Mega Drive shirt and some Sonic Unleashed stuff, some original prints and pages in the Comics section, some new figurines, the Plushies section has been opened as well as a brand new Miscellaneous section featuring a whole host of crazy crap.

So have a little look and see what merchandise SEGA have had to offer over the years!

Severe Retail Cock-Up: A Thousand Apologies

Wednesday, February 11th, 2009

I recently ordered a 10th Anniversary Sonic the Hedgehog boxset off a Japanese Ebay seller. It was a decent price and I was glad to finally have the opportunity to own it. The listing said it would come with the 10th anniversary coin, booklet and CD aswell as a copy of Sonic Adventure 2 (japanese, ooo!).

However, upon arrival I noticed I’d been given a Japanese copy of Sonic Adventure. This hasn’t bothered me much as I much prefer Sonic Adventure to its’ sequel but I thought I better tell the seller just in case this screwed up any of his other orders.

The message I received now follows:

“Hello
A thousand apologies, you are absolutely right, your game is here, was my mistake and I pray a thousand apologies a big mistake I apologize.
Missiles will play correctly on Sonic Adventure 1 may, a thousand apologies.
If you are interested in another Dreamcast game or something Japan can tell me to get it and if you like any of my articles now, I will contact me discounts.
A thousand apologies for the mistake.
Waiting for your kind reply me reiterate my apology dismissal”

Makes me wish I didn’t mention anything now! What a lovely bloke, I want to keep him 🙂

Sega Rally Revo

Monday, January 19th, 2009

To kick off the addition of the Merchandise pages (Well the Seventh Generation only so far but give me a chance) and the empty Third Party Software pages, I have made a Review and added Merchandise information for Sega Rally (Aka Sega Rally Revo in other continents) on the XBox 360 and PS3.

Personally I would highly recommend the game. That may be because I am a massive fan of it, but it shocked me with how good it was. When I bought it, it was just a quick purchase, I thought it would be okay but nothing special and boy was I wrong. Check the review to find out why.
The Sega Rally review includes photographs of the boxart (May change these to scans in time) and in-game footage including imagery of the original 2 Sega Rally cars together and a picture each of the Sonic and Shadow skins used on two of the vehicles in-game.

As for Merchandise, you can expect to see a huge amount more covering alot more games as time goes on. The small amount of Sega Rally is just a start, the team at SegaDriven certainly have a vast amount more to share with you guys (In the sense of uploading images. Don’t touch my things tongue )
The Sega Rally Merchandise includes photos (May be changed to scans later) of the soundtrack’s inlay, booklet, cover and disc as well as photographs of the official Sega Rally T-shirt and Sega Rally Jacket (A professional Rally Jacket embossed with the Sega and Sega Rally logos).

I hope this gets you salivating for what’s to come. Now look at my geeky face. Ohhh yeaaa wink
