We’ve spoken about Freedom Planet in the past as the game has been doing the rounds in the Sonic community for quite some time. However, Strife (the developer) has now taken the game to the next step and is seeking funding using Kickstarter and Steam Greenlight. At the time of writing the game has smashed its’ funding goal of $2000 with an impressive total of $7580. Greek indie developer Pelikan13 has begun a Kickstarter campaign for a new PC racing game called The 90s Arcade Racer and it’s heavily inspired by SEGA games like Scud Race and Daytona USA. A £10 pledge will get you a digital download of the game for PC, Mac or Linux with an estimated delivery of November this year. As you’d expect, more lavish options are available if you pledge higher amounts.
