Game Gear rarity Griffin has been re-released for modern platforms courtesy of Ratalaika Games.
Originally developed by Telenet Japan and released in 1991, this top-down shooter has never been made available outside Japan until now. Porting duties have been handled by Edia Company with Ratalaika publishing this new port for Switch, PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

Watermelon Games have surprise-announced a new Mega Drive title called Papi Commando. Developed by Studio Vetea, the top-down shooter is reminiscent of games like Mercs and Ikari Warriors and is available to purchase right now by clicking this link.
At the time of writing, the limited edition boxed version has sold out, but the raw version which contains the cartridge, instruction manual and a paper insert for a clamshell case is still available to buy for only $29 before post and packaging. Another run of the game in a box is available for pre-order but it won’t ship until the 1st of January 2017.
Alien Syndrome was resurrected in 2007 for a sequel to the 1987 arcade original that came to Wii and PSP. NG:Dev.Team are back with another Dreamcast game! The game is called NEO XYX and is being billed as a ‘maniac shooting game’. The top-down shooter reminds us a lot of the Capcom 1945 games. Check out the first teaser below:
You can pre-order the game now from the NG:Dev.Direct shop. The game is currently set for release in Q2 2013. The size of the game also depends on the money raised from pre-orders so if you want a bigger game then hop to it!
