Hardlight Studio’s next title is another Sonic the Hedgehog endless runner, but this time it’s themed around the upcoming Sonic Forces game due for release on November 7th 2017. The game is currently in a soft launch state so it’s only playable in certain regions. The game is due for a wider release soon on both iOS and Android devices. A new update for Sonic Dash has now gone live and it adds Classic Sonic as a playable character. Also included is a brand new Green Hill-themed area. A launch trailer is available to watch below:

A new Crazy Taxi game has been announced for iOS and Android devices. The new game is called Crazy Taxi: City Rush and it’s being developed by SEGA’s mobile developer Hardlight Studio. Check out the announcement trailer below and the first screenshot above:
Hardlight Studio’s endless runner Sonic Dash has finally made its way to Android devices. The game is available to download from the Google Play store for a measly £no money.
Sonic Dash for iOS is now free-to-play. The endless running iOS game can now be downloaded from the App Store for the grand old price of nothing and now includes a new series of daily challenges that will yield prizes like red star rings and new characters.
Sonic Dash is now available on the iOS app store and to celebrate SEGA have uploaded a launch trailer that shows exactly what to expect from the £1.49 title:
It has been revealed that the gameplay of recently announced iOS game Sonic Dash will be similar to that of endless running game Temple Run.
SEGA have specifically stated that Sonic will be “making a fast and frenzied 3D dash through stunning stages, as he navigates over, around, and through interminable dangers”. Also included is online leaderboards.
Sonic Dash will be available for iPod, iPhone and iPad devices “soon”.
A couple of days ago a LinkedIn job adverstisement for Hardlight Studio mentioned the game ‘Sonic Dash’ as a recent success for the studio. After a lot of speculation that this could be a new mobile game from Hardlight we finally have the official word from the studio:
“As so many of you have asked, yes we are working on a new mobile game.
And yes, it is Sonic Dash.
We’re very excited to announce more details very soon.”
So that settles that then. Hardlight Studio previously developed the new version of Sonic Jump.
Viking: Battle for Asgard is finally available on PC thanks to the porting work of Hardlight Studio. The original game launched on X-Box 360 and PS3 back in 2008 and was developed by The Creative Assembly.
The game currently costs £9.99 on the Steam Store.
