Video Spotlight: 2 New Songs for Project Diva Arcade

Another update has gone live to Project Diva Arcade machines! The new update features an additional 2 songs which come in the form of Absolunote by Lemm and 深海少女」 by ゆうゆさん which features on the soundtrack to Hatsune Miku and Future Stars: Project Mirai for 3DS.

Rodea the Sky Soldier Amazingly Not Dead

Prope’s NiGHTS-like Wii and 3DS game Rodea the Sky Soldier is still due for release despite being announced in 2010. We even spoke to Yuji Naka back in 2011 and he confirmed that the finished game had been submitted to Kadowaka Games which meant we all assumed it was almost time to go gold.

Yoshimi Yasuda who is the president of Kadowaka Games has revealed that Kadowaka who are porting the Wii version to the 3DS were having trouble adapting the control scheme. Yasuda also said that the version is about 70% finished and that there will be more information in the near future.

SEGA 3D Classics Finally Headed to Europe

The SEGA 3D Classics range for Nintendo 3DS has finally been confirmed for Europe! Altered Beast, Ecco the Dolphin, Galaxy Force II, Shinobi III, Sonic The Hedgehog, Space Harrier, Streets of Rage and Super Hang-On will all release “soon” on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. You can see the announcement in the latest Nintendo Direct at the 5:13 mark:

Project Mirai 2 Launches in Japan on November 28th

Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2 will launch in Japan on November 28th for Nintendo 3DS. The game will be available as a regular edition for 6229 yen and a limited edition priced at 7665 yen. No details as to what is in the limited edition have been made available at this time.

Project Mirai 2 is a Japan exclusive entry in the Hatsune Miku series and offers a cutesy, more friendly alternative to the Project Diva series. The series has been developed by SEGA AM2.

Video Spotlight: New Sonic Lost World Trailer and Release Date Revealed

Check out the latest Sonic: Lost World trailer which showcases some of the new colour powers Sonic has at his disposal:

The trailer also reveals the North American release date which is October 22nd. Going by that logic, us Brits should see the game on the 25th as games usually release on Fridays in the UK.

Play Sonic Lost World at Summer of Sonic

Summer of Sonic will host the first UK playable version of Sonic: Lost World. The game will be available to play on both Wii-U and 3DS at the convention so if you’re itching to play the latest Sonic game ahead of release and you managed to score a Summer of Sonic ticket then you’re in luck!
