A new trailer for SEGA 3D Reprint Archives 2 has gone live and you can watch it below:
SEGA 3D Reprint Archives 2 is exclusive to Japan. The collection bundles together 3D Sonic The Hedgehog, 3D Galaxy Force II, 3D Thunderblade, 3D Altered Beast, 3D Fantasy Zone II, 3D Power Drift and 3D Puyo Puyo 2 with two Master System titles; Maze Walker and Fantasy Zone II. It launches on the 23rd of December for 3DS.
A massive 8 minute story trailer for Yakuza Kiwami has appeared and you can watch it below. Yakuza Kiwami is a PS3/PS4 enhanced remake of the original Yakuza game and it will also mark the final Yakuza game to be released on PS3.

The first trailer for Yakuza 6 has finally appeared online! Yakuza 6 will be the first fully next-gen Yakuza title being entire exclusive to the PS4. You can watch the new trailer below:
Yakuza 6 is currently scheduled for an Autumn 2016 release in Japan only.

Phantasy Star Online 2: The Animation will start broadcasting on the 7th of January 2016 in Japan through Tohoku Broadcasting Company (TBC). The series seems to be centered around high school kids that play Phantasy Star Online 2 instead of being a story set inside the PSO2 universe.
A new trailer for the upcoming Yakuza remake, Yakuza Kiwami has gone live and it features loads of new action and some of the most bizarre Majima moments we’ve seen yet. You can get thoroughly creeped out by using the embed below:
Yakuza Kiwami launches in Japan on the 21st of January 2016. The game is available on both PS3 and PS4.
The updated version of Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax (called Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition; quite the mouthful) is launching in Japan next month and there’s now a new TV spot showing off plenty of in-game action. Check it out below:
Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition will feature 4 new playable characters and 6 new assist characters. Additional content comes in the form of new stage art and re-balancing for all playable characters. Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition launches on December 17th for PS3, PS4 and PS Vita in Japan only.
A new trailer for Neptunia vs. SEGA Hard Girls has gone live. This new trailer showcases lots of the game’s characters and gives you a good look at the game’s battle system. You can check it out via the embed below:
Neptunia vs. SEGA Hard Girls launches on the 26th of November for PS Vita in Japan. There is currently no word on a Western release.
You can now see Takeshi Kitano’s in-game Yakuza 6 character in this new video. Check it out below:
Details of Takeshi’s character are still scarce with no details on the character’s name or backstory at this time. Yakuza 6 is currently scheduled for an Autumn 2016 release on PS4. A Western release is not planned at this time.
1991 Japan-exclusive Sonic arcade game Waku Waku Sonic Patrol Car has finally been dumped and can now be emulated in MAME. This also means that high quality footage of the game is now available to watch below. Check it out:
Waku Waku Sonic Patrol Car is more like those children’s sit-in “rides” you often see in shopping centres and it never made its way out of Japan despite the existence of an English version. It is widely rumoured that the English version was used in markets where tourism was more popular. Sonic is voiced by Takeshi Kusao who would also voice Sonic in another arcade exclusive Sonic game, the infamous SegaSonic the Hedgehog.
