SEGA held a conference today at the Tokyo Game Show 2025 to discuss some new details about the New Virtua Fighter Project. The 50 minute conference was largely made up of a discussion about the game’s battle rules and some new battle system mechanics, whilst also reviewing the training room gameplay that was previously showcased at EVO 2025.
At 47:32 the presenters show the only new footage of the project in the entire showcase, which comprises of a 20 second character teaser where the silhouette of an undertermined character walks down a street. As you can imagine it’s absolutely riveting viewing and well worth watching the entire presentation for. You can skip to 47:32 in the embed below to watch it:
New Virtua Fighter Project still has no set release date, target platforms or official title. RGG Studio are developing the game. Perhaps the studio has bitten off a little more than they can chew as they’re also developing Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties, Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage, and Stranger Than Heaven.
Forever Entertainment have uploaded a 7 minute video of their Panzer Dragoon II Zwei remake in action. While there is no release date at the time of writing, the Steam page for the game says it is, “coming soon”. You can watch the gameplay video via the embed below. The video constantly displays a message that reads, “work in progress. Visuals and gameplay subject to change”:
Panzer Dragoon Zwei: Remake is coming to PC, Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The game is being developed by MegaPixel Studio and published by Forever Entertainment under license from SEGA.

Mega Man and Proto Man have been formally announced as upcoming DLC characters for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. The 2 characters will appear alongside a Dr. Wily’s Castle racing course in 2026. Owners of the Digital Deluxe Edition or season pass for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will receive these characters as a part of their package.

SEGA and RGG Studio have revealed that an enhanced remake of Yakuza 3 is coming in February 2026. Yakuza Kiwami 3 will include a complete Kiwami-style remake of Yakuza 3 developed in the Dragon Engine.
The game will also include a new campaign called Dark Ties which features Mine as the playable protagonist. You can check out the announcement trailer below:
Interestingly, the roles of Goh Hamazaki and Rikiya Shimabakuro have been recast for Yakuza Kiwami 3.
