Yakuza Kiwami 3 is a remake of Yakuza 3 running in RGG Studio’s Dragon Engine. It comes with a brand new chapter called Dark Ties which allows you to play as Mine for the first time in the franchise’s history. You can now get a look at Mine’s combat in action via the latest trailer for the game which you can view below:
Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties will launch February 12th 2026 on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2 and PC.
A New Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage trailer has arrived and with it comes a more detailed look at the single player World Stage mode. Similar to past Virtua Fighter titles, this mode sees you challenging various fighters based on real-world VF competitors at different booths to become the world champion. As you complete the various challenged in this mode you also unlock various items and customisation options. You can see this all in action via the embed below:
In addition to this news we also have confirmation that an open beta will run from October 1st to the 6th. This is only open to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC players.
Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage launches October 30th on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a Switch 2 port coming later in the Winter period. The game will also be applied to the PC port of Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. as a free update. RGG Studio are developing.
Sonic Fan Fest is returning in 2026 and will be taking place at The Future Inn: Cardiff Bay on the 20th of June 2026. This will be the first time the long-running Sonic the Hedgehog fan convention has taken place in Wales.
You can secure tickets now via the event’s Kickstarter, as well as additional perks like pin badges, mugs and t-shirts. The Kickstarter will close on October 27th 2025 and all proceeds raised from the Kickstarter will go towards the event costs.
Sonic Fan Fest started life as Weston Super Sonic and was originally located in Weston-super-Mare from 2014. In 2023 it was rebranded as Sonic Fan Fest and moved to Bristol.
SEGA have released a gameplay trailer for Yakuza Kiwami 3 that specifically showcases the in-game combat. The trailer lets you see Kiryu fighting in Kamurocho and using weapons in Okinawa. You can watch the gameplay trailer below:

SEGA held a conference today at the Tokyo Game Show 2025 to discuss some new details about the New Virtua Fighter Project. The 50 minute conference was largely made up of a discussion about the game’s battle rules and some new battle system mechanics, whilst also reviewing the training room gameplay that was previously showcased at EVO 2025.
At 47:32 the presenters show the only new footage of the project in the entire showcase, which comprises of a 20 second character teaser where the silhouette of an undertermined character walks down a street. As you can imagine it’s absolutely riveting viewing and well worth watching the entire presentation for. You can skip to 47:32 in the embed below to watch it:
New Virtua Fighter Project still has no set release date, target platforms or official title. RGG Studio are developing the game. Perhaps the studio has bitten off a little more than they can chew as they’re also developing Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties, Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage, and Stranger Than Heaven.
Forever Entertainment have uploaded a 7 minute video of their Panzer Dragoon II Zwei remake in action. While there is no release date at the time of writing, the Steam page for the game says it is, “coming soon”. You can watch the gameplay video via the embed below. The video constantly displays a message that reads, “work in progress. Visuals and gameplay subject to change”:
