Classic Sonic is now available as a free downloadable character for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. Classic Sonic also comes with his car from Sonic Drift which is a lovely attention to detail. An additional SEGA music collection has been added to the in-game jukebox as well. More tracks will be added to this collection as additional characters are added later this year.

In addition to Classic Sonic’s addition, SEGA have revealed that Axel from Crazy Taxi will also be added to the game in August 2026, while Amigo from Samba De Amigo will be added in September 2026. It is currently unclear if Axel and Amigo are free additions or a part of the 2nd year of paid DLC.
