The Sonic Amateur Games Expo will run from September 27th to October 4th at www.sagexpo.org.
The Sonic Amateur Games Expo returns on September the 27th 2019. This long running Sonic fan game event has often been the key event in the Sonic fan gaming calendar, so if Sonic fan gaming is your thing then be sure to mark September 27th to October 4th in your calendar.
Submissions for the event aren’t currently open, but the announcement trailer does mention that further details will come directly from the official SAGE Twitter account which you can access by clicking here.

The Sonic Amateur Games Expo is returning this year, but a little later than usual. The event will run from August 25th to Septmeber 1st and registration is now open. Got a Sonic fan game you’d like to showcase? Then head on over to Sonic Retro and read the submission guidelines.
The SAGE organisers are also putting together an event trailer so if you want your game featured in it, send a 10 second clip of your game to the official SAGE email address – sageentry[at]gmail.com

Sonic Triple Trouble is getting a new lease of life through a fan made 16 bit remake. Titled ‘Sonic Triple Trouble 16-Bit’, Noah Copeland is building the remake using Overbound’s engine for Sonic Time Twisted, which is a game we very much endorse. Click the embed below to see the first look of the fan game in action:
Sonic Triple Trouble 16-Bit has no release date at present, but it will be a PC title and the description for the trailer says, “This is a fan game you can expect to be completed… soon!” Hopefully not too long of a wait, then.
