Sonic Paradox Release Their First 3D Animated Shorts Compilation | Fan Scene

Receiving its first public showing at Sonic Fan Fest 2026, Sonic Paradox have now released their first 3D edition of their collaborative Sonic Shorts animated series. Sonic Shorts 3D: Volume 1 is 17 minutes of comedic Sonic action from a huge selection of 3D animators. You can watch the full thing via the video embed below:

Sonic Paradox’s Sonic Shorts series has typically focused on 2D animators, which makes this new 3D edition a genuine showcase for how far independent 3D animation has come. Sonic Paradox aren’t resting on their laurels either as another 2D edition of Sonic Shorts is well underway and was also previewed at Sonic Fan Fest 2026. Another edition of Vector’s Question Time is also on the way.

First Sonic Shorts Compilation In 11 Years Now Available to Watch | Fan Scene

The team at Sonic Paradox have revealed their first new compilation of animated Sonic shorts in 11 years. Sonic Shorts: Volume 9 is now available to watch on YouTube (and via the embed below) and its a whopping 40 minutes long. Check it out:

Sonic Paradox’s Sonic Shorts series started in 2008 on Newgrounds and was a fairly regular occurrence until 2013. A huge variety of animators have worked on the various volumes over the years and offered up an extremely elaborate selection of comedic short films for Sonic fans to enjoy. It’s great to see more from the team after so long and hopefully we’ll get to see more from them in the future.
