So yeah, apologies for the delay on this one! The Sonic Amateur Games Expo obviously ended on August 12th but because of me moving home this has been delayed!
Regardless, here is a run-down of the games we thought were the best at this year’s SAGE:
The Sonic Amateur Games Expo (or SAGE) is back on August 6th to August 12th! If you’re a budding amateur fan-game developer with a project you’d like to show at SAGE then click here to be taken to the thread at Sonic Fan Games HQ where you can register your booth for the event.
Registrations must be completed by July 28th to ensure your position in the event. Basically, hop to it and don’t miss your opportunity!
As per usual we will be covering the event when it takes place and will hopefully be providing an alternative to our usual text-based coverage. Stay tuned!
The Sonic Amateur Games Expo and Sonic Stuff Research Group will be hosting a hacking contest that will last the length of the show (September 18th to the 24th). Check out the below trailer to see what you can expect:
I think it’s safe to say I’m VERY excited to play Sonic 2 Heroes!
The Sonic Amateur Games Expo is returning! Come September 18th the showcase opens to the public, so get your gamepads ready because there’ll be a whole heap of new Sonic fangaming to sink your teeth into.
The show runs until September 24th and is currently in its’ registration stage. If you have a game you would like to submit you’ll need the following along with proof of your game:
– Booth banner: 200 x 40 No borders! (Please attach to registration e-mail)
– Booth URL – If you don’t have one yet that’s fine, but you’ll need to get that sorted by Sept. 17
– Your booth will be displayed in an iframe 390 high by 625 wide. We encourage you to include a splash page to fit within this space with a link to open your main page in a new window.
Email your banner and URL to sagexpo@gmail.com by September 14th to be featured at THE annual fangaming event of the year.
Other things to look forward to are the Sonic the Hedgehog Hacking Contest helf independently by SSRG and the ‘Best in Show’ contest being run by Overbound, the creator of Sonic Time Twisted.
