Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds has revealed a slew of Nickelodeon guest characters are coming to the game for its September 25th 2025 launch. The first of these are SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star, complete with their own Bikini Bottom circuit. You can check them out in action via the embed below:

SEGA have also revealed that characters from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem and Avatar Legends are coming to Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds as well. We’re secretly hoping that Nickelodeon’s ownership of the Garfield IP and the upcoming release of Garfield Kart 2: All You Can Drift gives the lasanga-loving feline a fighting chance of being included too.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds launches on September 25th 2025 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2 and PC. The game is being developed by Sonic Team.
