The PSP played 2nd fiddle to the Nintendo DS during its lifetime, but that didn’t stop it from amassing a hugely impressive library of console-like experiences that could be played on the go. Let’s take a look at 5 SEGA games that made their way to Sony’s handheld wonder:
The above images come from a cancelled Initial D game for the DS called Initial D EX. The game was in development at SEGA Rosso in 2007/2008 but was quietly cancelled for unknown reasons. The above images actually come directly from SEGA Rosso’s website but were removed rather sharpish. Initial D EX was planned to be the 7th game in the Initial D franchise.
SEGA’s Japanese exclusive racing series Initial D is headed back to the arcades for a 7th installment (that’s right, 7! Any chance of a Western release for some of these games, please SEGA?). The game is called Initial D Arcade Stage 7 AAX (bit of a mouthful) and there’s a new trailer available to watch now:
