Here’s the new trailer of Black Leopard: New Yakuza Chapter straight from the SEGA of Japan YouTube Channel. You can expect to see a whole load of cutscene artwork, fight gameplay and other bits and bobs.

A new review has been uploaded to the 7th generation of third party releases section. After Burner Climax has been given the once over and I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s awesome and needs to be in every SEGA fan’s collection. For a more detailed account, go and read the review now!

There’s something alluring to playing a game that you’ve heard is really bad. I quite enjoy testing the murky waters of gaming’s worst software (maybe that’s why I’m still such a big Sonic fan *ba-dum-tish*). But sometimes you’ve just got to put your foot down and stop telling yourself that your latest purchase is any good (I’m not talking about myself…). Double Dragon II for the Mega Drive is shit. But just how shit? Check out our full review now!

What is it with super deformed characters? I’ve never seen the appeal of that visual style. They look so cheap and tacky. And that’s exactly what SD Valis is like. Don’t be fooled into thinking this is a rare, Japanese oddity. It’s a boring little platformer that isn’t worth your cash. Check out our full review in the Mega Drive section of ‘First Party Reviews’.

I thought it was time for a change this morning so I threw together a SEGA Mega Drive Ultimate Collection wallpaper using the packshots from the SEGA Press website.
Then I realised more SEGA fans out there might want to use it. So I stuck our logo on it and uploaded it to the server in 3 different resolutions. Wasn’t that an exciting story? Hit the new ‘Downloads’ link to get it for yourself. Enjoy!

When it comes to winning website awards, I’ve always been an outsider. But I’ve always appreciated the support I get as it shows that someone out there regards my site as their favourite site. This is why I still continue to enter wesbite awards competitions because as the saying goes, “you’ve got to be in it to win it”.
So if you think SEGADriven is worthy of “Best Layout”, “Greatest Improvement”, “Best Media Source” or “The Shadow All-Star Award” then lend us your support by clicking on the banner above and giving us a vote!
