SEGA Japan have picked up the first game from new developer GPTRACK50 for a Japanese PS5 and PC release.
GPTRACK50 are a new studio made from ex Devil May Cry and Resident Evil talent. The studio was founded by Hiroyuki Kobayashi and is being funded by Chinese tech conglomorate NetEase.
Stupid Never Dies is an action RPG where you control Davy who is described as “the weakest zombie imaginable”. As Davy you have to battle your way through a massive dungeon to defeat the King of Monsters. You can watch the reveal trailer below:
Stupid Never Dies releases on PS5 and PC on the 22nd of October 2026. SEGA will only handle publishing duties in Japan.
