SR-1000 Data Recorder

The SR-1000 Data Recorder is a cassette drive released in 1983 and made to be used in conjunction with the SC-3000 home computer. This cassette drive would allow users to save and load data to a standard compact cassette. Some software was also distributed on compact cassette and the SR-1000 could also load this software for use on an SC-3000. The SR-1000 was bundled with a power adapter and a double-ended audio cable that connects the device to an SC-3000. This is very similar to the way ZX Spectrum and Commodore 64 cassette software is loaded.
