Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022 Paramount Movie)
Synopsis
The UK blu-ray release of the 2022 live action sequel to the 2020 Sonic the Hedgehog movie directed by Jeff Fowler. Fowler returns to direct and the movie stars Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik, Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic, James Marsden as Sonic’s father figure Tom Wachowski, and introduces Colleen O’Shaughnessey as the voice of Tails and Idris Elba as the voice of Knuckles. After getting stranded on the Mushroom Planet, Dr. Robotnik manages to send a distress signal which attracts the attention of Knuckles. Robotnik teams up with Knuckles in exchange for information on where to find the Master Emerald. Robotnik twists this truce in his favour by getting Knuckles to attack Sonic, saying Sonic is trying to get the Master Emerald for himself. Robotnik plans to eliminate Sonic for stranding him on the Mushroom Planet and steal the Master Emerald for himself so he can use its power to rule the universe.
