SEGA Control Stick (Model Number 3060)

The SEGA Control Stick is a Master System peripheral aimed at giving Master System owners an arcade-style joystick for use with the console. It is extremely simplistic as joysticks go with no added turbo or slow motion functionality. It simply has 2 fire buttons like a standard Master System controller and a joystick instead of a directional pad. The joystick does not use micro-switches and instead relies on rubber contacts like most SEGA joysticks. Unlike a traditional ball-top joystick, the SEGA Control Stick uses a joystick that is shaped more like a car’s gear stick. In an nontraditional design choice, the joystick is situated to the right of the fire buttons instead of the other way round.
