Synopsis
A 3 disc collection of the original 4 episode Sakura Wars: The Gorgeous Blooming Cherry Blossoms OVA series and the later 6 episode Sakura Wars: The Radiant Gorgeous Blooming Cherry Blossoms. The Gorgeous Blooming Cherry Blossoms is presented in its entirety on disc 1 while The Radiant Gorgeous Blooming Cherry Blossoms is split into 2 discs called Return of the Spirit Warriors and Wedding Bells respectively. The Gorgeous Blooming Cherry Blossoms was originally broadcast from December 1997 to July 1998 and The Radiant Gorgeous Blooming Cherry Blossoms was originally broadcast from December 1999 to December 2000. While the original OVA series acts as a prequel to the original game, the 2nd OVA is more a series of character studies that take place during the events of the first 2 video games.
